Fraudulent Phone calls from someone pretending to be calling from our firm
We have recently been approached by various companies from all parts of the country including Northern Ireland complaining about someone calling from a withheld number pretending to be from our firm asking to speak to the Directors or the Accounts department chasing some unpaid invoices.
These callers have been very rude and pressurising to collect the outstanding monies there and then and threaten legal action if the invoice is not paid and ask for card details.
Please note that such activity has nothing to do with our firm and we have reported this to the Kent Police as Fraudulent Activity and request you to report to your local police station with the date and time of the call.
If we ever chase an invoice, it will be for an insurance premium and the phone call would be preceded with a copy invoice in the post. Moreover you would know whether you have any insurance dealing with us in the recent past.
With regards to marketing calls, we have not done so in the last 2 years and if we do run a campaign for an insurance product in the future, you will first receive an introductory letter from us in the post giving you an opportunity to stop any future uninvited contact.
Please do not ignore this, lets work together and ensure that such fraudsters are dealt with the strictest legal action.
